The agreement between you and Ephoreal Technologies for the use of maptoclips —
what you may do with the service, what you own, and what we are responsible for.
Last updated: July 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of maptoclips, operated by
Ephoreal Technologies (OPC) Pvt. Ltd., 14 Rajaji Street, Puducherry, India – 605004
("we", "us"). By creating an account, pasting a map link or rendering a video, you agree to these
terms, to our Privacy Policy and to our
Cancellation & Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility & account
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law.
If you use maptoclips for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it to these terms.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for everything done under your account.
Keep your credentials confidential. Tell us at once if you suspect unauthorised access.
One account per person or business unless we agree otherwise in writing. Accounts may not be shared or resold.
3. The service
maptoclips resolves a Google Maps link, lets you trace a plot boundary, and renders a vertical
9:16 MP4 with the boundary drawn on, named roads highlighted, nearby amenities measured and your
voiceover synced. Rendering runs on our servers.
Features, presets, reel styles and limits may change, improve or be withdrawn as the product develops.
Availability is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted. Maintenance, upstream API outages and rate limits can affect renders.
Amenity discovery, road names, distances and plot areas are derived from third-party map data and are indicative, not surveyed measurements.
4. Your content & ownership
"Your Content" means the map links, traced boundaries, settings, voiceover recordings, logos,
company names and contact details you supply.
You keep ownership of Your Content.
The videos you render are yours to use, including commercially — for listings, social posts, ads and client work — subject to the third-party map terms in section 5.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, transmit and render Your Content solely to operate and support the service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, including logos, trademarks, music you supply and any voice you record.
5. Map data & third-party terms
Renders incorporate data from Google Maps Platform and OpenStreetMap. Your use of the output is
also subject to those providers' terms, including the
Google Maps Platform Terms of Service
and the OpenStreetMap licence (ODbL), which require attribution to be preserved where it appears.
Do not remove attribution burned into a render, and do not use output in ways those providers
prohibit — for example rebuilding a competing mapping product from it.
6. AI features & your responsibility
Satellite "realistic mode" runs frames through an AI enhancement pass. Enhanced frames are a
stylised interpretation of map imagery, not a factual record of the site as it stands today.
You are responsible for what you publish. Before using a reel in a listing or
advertisement, verify the plot boundary, area, road names, amenity names and distances against
authoritative records. maptoclips is a presentation tool, not a survey, a title document or legal
advice, and must not be presented to buyers as any of those.
7. Our intellectual property
The maptoclips name, logo, site, application, renderer, reel styles, sound design, templates and
underlying code remain our property and are protected by Indian and international law. You may not
copy, reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or create derivative works from any part of the service,
nor use our branding without written permission.
8. Payments, credits & plans
Paid plans and credit packs are billed in advance through our payment gateway. Prices are shown at checkout and include taxes where applicable.
Credits are consumed when a render is submitted, because compute is spent at that moment.
Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; access continues to the end of the paid period.
We may change pricing with notice before your next renewal. Continuing after that date accepts the new price.
Failed or reversed payments may lead to suspension of access until settled.
Use bots, scripts or mass automation against the app or its APIs.
Overload, probe or interfere with our infrastructure, or bypass plan limits, credits, rate limits or security controls.
Resell, sublicense or white-label access to the service itself, as distinct from selling the videos you produce.
Upload content that infringes intellectual property, or that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, threatening, obscene or misleading.
Misrepresent property boundaries, ownership, dimensions or amenities in a way that could deceive a buyer or tenant.
Impersonate another person or business, or use a logo or brand you have no right to.
Use the service to violate any applicable law, including real-estate advertising and consumer protection rules.
10. Data storage
We store your projects and renders so you can return to them, as described in the
Privacy Policy. We are not a backup service: keep your own copy of any
video you rely on. We may delete content associated with accounts that have been closed, or that
have been inactive for an extended period, after giving reasonable notice.
11. Disclaimer & liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind,
express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that map data, road names, place names, distances or computed areas are accurate,
complete or current.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special,
consequential or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, lost sales, lost data or reputational harm
arising from your use of the service or of any video produced with it. Our total aggregate liability
for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the
event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including
liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
12. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these terms, abuse of the platform, non-payment, or where required for legal or security reasons.
Where a suspension is for a fixable issue, we will normally give notice and a chance to fix it first.
Termination for breach does not entitle you to a refund of amounts already paid or of credits already spent.
Sections on ownership, disclaimers, liability and governing law survive termination.
13. Third-party links
The site and app may link to third-party sites and services we do not control. We are not
responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices. Your dealings with them are between you
and them.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product and the law change. The "last updated" date reflects the
current version, and material changes will be notified in the app or by email before they take
effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the revised terms.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Puducherry, India have exclusive
jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service. Before
filing, please write to us — most issues are settled faster by email.
